Arçelik A.Ş. establishes commercial relations with its suppliers, based on mutual trust, constructed with a sense of responsibility and communication, and having well-defined contents and limits set by the ability to compromise.
Arçelik A.Ş. mutually signs the “Purchasing Contracts” with its suppliers in order to have the working conditions bilaterally defined and provide continuity of such conditions.
The main purpose of the contracts are:
- Bilaterally defining the working conditions,
- Determining the measures and procedures in case they are not met
A joint ‘CECED Code of Conduct’ considering the global conditions and consumer expectations has been drawn up and signed by the European Committee of Domestic Equipment Manufacturers affiliated by Arçelik, which is also a member of the Koç Group of Companies that has signed the UN (United Nations) Global Compact Principles is spacified in contract. Therefore suppliers are also obliged to comply that priciples.
