Our Ethical Approach

Arcelik A.Ş. conforms to the directives of international initiatives, of which it is a voluntary participant, under the headings of human and employee rights and ensures that its approach and practices are audited by independent audit institutions. The company complies with the human rights and working standards principles identified by the United Nations Global Compact, of which Koc Group, with which it is affiliated, is a signatory; it offers its performance in this area to the views of its stakeholders through sustainability reports.

In line with our belief that the sustainability of our business depends on the qualified and experienced professionals who will carry Arçelik A.Ş. into the future, it is one of our core responsibilities to provide our employees a progress-oriented working environment whereby they can feel happy and productive. Our primary approach in carrying out these responsibilities is to be respectful towards human rights and to focus on continuous improvement.  

Our Ethical Rules of Conduct, which is based on the fundamental principles addressed by Vehbi Koç, the founder of Koç Group, carries utmost significance to ensure the perpetuity of our system. Our Ethical Rules of Conduct is prepared in line with our employee handbook which is published by the commitment of Arçelik AŞ Board of Directors. The effective and healthy application of ethical rules is ensured by the Ethical Conduct Board formed within the body of Arçelik A.Ş. This board is comprised of the General Manager, related Deputy General Manager, Human Resources Director and Legal Advisor. Human Resources Director is responsible for the coordination and implementation of human rights policies. The condition regarding cases handled by Arçelik A.Ş.
